I’m not getting any draw from my vape kit Spitting and/or gurgling sounds when I vape

Small clouds usually come down to airflow, power, coil type, or e-liquid. Try these in order:

Quick wins (2–3 mins)

  • Open the airflow more; restrictive airflow = thin vapour.

  • Bump wattage within the coil’s range. Start low, raise 2–3 W at a time until flavour/heat peak without harshness.

  • Use a fresh coil/pod. Tired coils make weak, wispy vapour.

  • Check battery health. Low or old batteries sag → weak output. Fully charge or try a known-good cell.

Set-up checklist for bigger clouds

  • Coil type: For clouds, use sub-ohm mesh coils (≈0.15–0.4 Ω) in a DTL tank/pod.

  • Wattage: Run mid–upper end of the printed range (don’t exceed max).

  • E-liquid: Go high VG (≈70/30 VG/PG); thin, high-PG juices make smaller clouds.

  • Nicotine: Use low nic (0–6 mg) for DTL; higher nic is harsh at cloud power.

  • Airflow & drip tip: Keep airflow fairly open; use a wide-bore mouthpiece if your kit supports it.

  • Seal & path: Clean condensation from the chimney/airflow; re-seat coil to ensure no leaks/flooding.

Technique tweaks

  • Direct-to-lung inhale (not mouth-to-lung), 3–5 second smooth draw.

  • Pace your pulls: 10–20 s between puffs helps the wick keep up.

  • Prime properly: After installing a new coil, wait 5–10 min before first use.

When gear is the limit

  • MTL/prefilled pods are built for stealthy, tight draws—not clouds.
    Consider a refillable sub-ohm kit or a high-output pod-mod with mesh coils and >60 W capability.

Safety first

  • Stay within rated wattage/temperature for your coil.

  • For removable batteries, use reputable cells, intact wraps, and a quality charger.
