I’m not getting any draw from my vape kit Spitting and/or gurgling sounds when I vape

A weak “nic hit” usually comes down to nicotine strength/type, e-liquid ratio, power/airflow, coil choice, or technique. Try these in order:

Quick wins (fastest first)

  • Step up nicotine (sensibly).

    • MTL/pods: move to 10–12 mg freebase or 15–20 mg nic salt.

    • DTL/sub-ohm: keep it low (3–6 mg freebase) to avoid harshness at high power.

  • Tighten airflow a notch. A slightly tighter draw concentrates vapour and boosts throat/nic hit.

  • Raise power within range. Increase wattage in 2–3 W steps (or use “normal” instead of “boost/turbo” for small pods if they get too hot).

  • Use a fresh coil/pod. Tired coils mute impact.

E-liquid choices that hit harder

  • Freebase vs salts: Freebase gives sharper throat hit per mg; salts feel smoother at higher strengths.

  • Increase PG. 50/50 (or even 60/40 PG/VG in MTL gear) carries more throat hit than high-VG blends.

  • Flavours that punch: Menthol/mint/ice and tobaccos amplify perceived kick.

Hardware setup

  • MTL coils/pods (0.8–1.2 Ω) + narrow bore tip = cigarette-like hit.

  • DTL/cloud gear is designed for smoothness; for more impact, switch to a tighter MTL device or higher-resistance pod.

  • Check coil range (printed on coil/pod) and run mid–upper within spec for more intensity.

Technique tweaks

  • Mouth-to-lung (draw to mouth, then inhale) gives stronger throat sensation than relaxed DTL.

  • Short, firm 2–3s puffs with 10–20s between pulls beat long, airy drags.

  • Keep device upright; mild flooding dilutes hit.

Situational factors

  • Very sweet/dark juices gunk coils → weaker hit; change coils/pods more often or use cleaner flavours.

  • Cold temps thicken juice; warm device indoors and take gentler puffs.

When to change approach

  • If you’re chain-vaping low-nic salts and still unsatisfied, try higher-nic salts (15–20 mg) or switch to freebase 10–12 mg in an MTL pod for more bite.

  • If high power with low nic is harsh but not satisfying, lower power + slightly higher nic often feels better.

Safety

  • Increase nicotine gradually to avoid dizziness/nausea.

  • Stay within coil wattage limits.

  • If you ever taste burnt, stop and replace the coil/pod.
